Efficient Pure Plumbing is proud to be exhibiting at the Electrify Your Life! Expo 2026, hosted by Electrify Boroondara, on Sunday 11 October, 10am to 4pm at Hawthorn Arts Centre (360 Burwood Road, Hawthorn). It’s a free, community event open to anyone in Boroondara who’s curious about what it actually takes to move a home off gas, and we’re thrilled to have a stand there this year.
If you’ve been putting off the decision to ditch gas heating, this is the event to finally get your questions answered. Electrify Boroondara brings together local installers, energy experts, and businesses who work in home electrification every day, all in one place, so you can compare options, ask real questions, and walk away with a clear next step instead of a browser full of open tabs. Our team will be there all day, ready to talk through your options for ducted heating and cooling and help you decide whether now is the right time to switch.
Why visit our stand
As an authorised Daikin installer, we install some of the most efficient ducted heat pump systems on the market. Unlike a single split system that only heats or cools one room, a ducted system conditions your whole home from one central unit, using ductwork hidden in your ceiling to deliver even, whisper quiet heating and cooling to every room. Because it runs on electricity rather than gas, and modern heat pump technology is so efficient, switching to a Daikin ducted system typically means lower running costs and a smaller footprint for your household, without any compromise on comfort.
At our stand, you’ll be able to:
- Chat with our team about whether ducted heating and cooling is the right fit for your home, your floor plan, and your budget
- Book a free site inspection on the spot, so you can get a proper assessment and quote without having to chase us up afterwards
- See real photos and examples of recent Daikin ducted installs from right around Boroondara, so you know what to expect
- Ask about the rebates and incentives currently available in Victoria for electrification upgrades, including how they might apply to your situation
- Get honest advice on timing. If your existing gas system still has a few years left in it, we’ll tell you that too
We know that replacing a heating and cooling system is a big decision, and it’s not one you should have to make from a glossy brochure alone. That’s exactly why we like events like this. You get to meet the people who will actually be doing the install, ask the awkward questions in person, and get a feel for whether we’re the right fit for your home before you commit to anything.
A giveaway worth sticking around for
We’re planning something a little extra for the day. Anyone who purchases a Daikin ducted system through EPP goes into the draw to win a Daikin hot water system, which is one more way to bring down your household’s reliance on gas and lower your energy bills even further. The only catch is that you’ll need to have attended the Expo to be eligible, so if you’re on the fence about a ducted system, this is a good reason to come down and see us in person. Full terms and conditions will be confirmed closer to the event, so keep an eye on our page for details.
Can’t make it to the stand?
We get it, not everyone can carve out a Sunday for an expo. If you can’t make it down to Hawthorn Arts Centre but you’re still keen to explore a switch to Daikin ducted heating and cooling, you can book your free site inspection online at any time. Just head to our Find an Installer page, pop in a few details, and one of our team will be in touch to arrange a time that works for you.
See you at the Expo
Electrifying your home doesn’t have to be complicated, and it doesn’t have to happen all at once. Sometimes the hardest part is just knowing where to start, and that’s exactly what events like Electrify Boroondara are for. Whether you’re ready to book an install or you’re still in the research phase and want to ask a few questions, we’d love to see you there.
Come say hello, bring your questions about gas versus electric, ducted versus split systems, or anything else on your mind, and find out whether a Daikin ducted system is the right fit for your place. We’ll be at Hawthorn Arts Centre on Sunday 11 October from 10am to 4pm, and we can’t wait to meet you.
